Morey’s Piers prepares to host over 8,000 scouts, troop leaders and chaperones for its 13th annual Beach Jam on May 16th through the 18th. Scouts enjoy an exciting, memorable and safe beach camping adventure with a special weekend package in addition to Merit Badge and Fun Patch workshops. This unique event takes place on the beach at Morey’s Piers with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop.

Cape May Inaugurates Harbor Fest

On Saturday, June 21, the City of Cape May will host Harbor Fest 2008, the first of what promises to become an annual celebration of seafood and song, the sea, its culture, its economy, and its ecology. Picturesque Cape May Harbor will provide the setting for Harbor Fest with water taxi rides, a junior fishing contest, Coast Guard rescue demonstrations, and kayak eco-tours. Land based activities will take place along Delaware Ave. near the Nature Center of Cape May.

Memorial Day weekend, as the 23rd Annual Wildwoods International Kite
Festival and East Coast Stunt Kite Championships take to the skies.

will be at the event, from traditional kites to enormous inflatable
creatures flown by professional kite flyers, members of local and
out-of-state kite clubs and interested spectators who register with the
