The Ocean City Arts Center is pleased to welcome Linwood artist Chuck Law. Known throughout the United States , as well as Europe, Law has also made quite a name for himself here at the Arts Center, participating in many of our themed and juried shows. This month, he will have his first solo show at the Center, displaying for us the “driving, creative force behind his work,” – nature. His oil paintings will be exhibited throughout the month of March, Please come out and enjoy a night of light refreshments, great conversation, and of course, great art.

Four weekly sessions on Wednesdays, “Painting with Acrylics” is a user-friendly class on mastering the medium of acrylic paints. Join renowned photographer Andy Smith, featured at Wings ‘n Water Festival, for a workshop Friday, Feb. 5, 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., The two-day workshop will cover on basic elements of photography as a tool to enjoy the wonders of nature and produce beautiful images. Some knowledge of photography and cameras is helpful, but not necessary. Bring a camera, digital, point and shoot or film camera. Friday evening is a slide show of different kinds of nature photography: wildlife, birds, landscapes, and close-ups.
