In the early 1950’s a young man left his home in North Carolina and travelled to Philadelphia to study for Episcopalian Priesthood. His first Church after graduation from Seminary was St. Simeons in Wildwood . But its St Barnabas Episcopal Church in the Villas a church he helped built from scratch, where he became Vicar and a beloved part of the church and secular community. I am speaking of Father William Shelton. Not only did he have a passion for his faith, but his other passion and muse was art.
