    New Year Update

I hope the beginning of 2012 has been pleasant for one and all. The dogs are adjusting to the colder weather. For Biscuit, winter is an all new expereicne and she looks at me with question marks when we start out on our morning walks these wintry days. Leah, being the old pro, has adjusted to the season by discovering the warmest spot in the house, the living room hearth.
Stay tuned for the next installment of my book about raising guide dog puppies.

How Can You Give Up That Adorable Puppy

    By Ray Rebmann

The title of the blog comes from the question I am most frequently asked as a volunteer guide dog puppy raiser.
I've been raising puppies to become service dogs for the past ten years. There's still a lot they have to teach me. Join me over the coming months with our new puppy, Tessie, as I continue to work to improve my skills. Feel free to comment, offer advice, make suggestions...anything to help me improve. I know Tessie will appreciate it.
