  • Fun ways to serve a Peanut and Butter Sandwich

Where is the sense of adventure? I am tired of PB and J and my kids want it for lunch every gosh-darn day. So, Since today is Mom Tip Monday, I am going to wake the taste buds up a little bit. Are you with my Moms? Come on.......PBandJ are classic but when it comes to lunch, If I can't have a classy one, then I at least want to have a fun one. Here is my Mom Tip on Monday.

Fun ways to make a PB and J sandwich

Dude...I totally dig the bananas. Add banana slices to the sandwich. This would be a surprise that your kids would like to eat. Thinly sliced pears or apples would give a little more of a "bite" too.

Loose the triangles and squares. Going old-school isn't cool. Cut sandwiches with cookie cutters.

Change Jelly Flavors or Natalia spread(YUM)

    Use crackers instead of bread

Open faced sandwiches(Forget to put the hat on the sandwich-----Its the summer---next thing you are going to tell me is that the sandwich needs mittens too???) Go open face...take it one step further and toast the bread!

Make Peanut butter Fajita!!! Roll it up! and slice it down.....for PBandJ pinwheels.(make sure you get flour shells)

OHHHHH make it a Double! Double Decker's can be the same amount of sandwich.....just served in a tall fun way. They will eat it up!!!!

Peanut butter Sundaes-----Get out the bread, jelly, crackers, chocolate Chips, apple slices ect and have them make their own lunch. How fun would that be. You would be totally earning memory points with that trick.

    Cheers-EAT UP!!!!

Try GRILLED PB & JELLY. IT IS GREAT! AND KIDS LOVE IT!
I USE PB & BLACKBERRY JELLY AND GRILL IT JUST LIKE YOU DO A GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH.

    Enjoy!
