The Motherhood Avenue blog is now officially 3 months old. I would like to share with you my goals and visions, on my hope for Motherhood Avenue. My goal is not to be the best writer on the block (secretly I am not the best speller....but that is just between you, me, and the many other readers of this blog). My goal is to never appear perfect. I am fairly new to the mom career and have not in any shape or form become the celebrity mom who is "perfect". I am a flawed human being; take me as I am or don't take me at all. This is the person God created me to be and I make NO excuses. My goal for Motherhood Avenue is for me to become the best mother that I can be, by learning and sharing with other mothers in our area. I believe you can help make me become that. It is my goal that mothers can communicate on my comment boards to provide me all the feedback on county issues, motherhood issues, and issues effecting our children in Cape May County. Feel free to disagree, or agree! If you can provide food for thought, please share it. It will make us the best mothers I believe our kiddos deserve to have and it will make Cape May County the most cultured, safe, and learning community this area can offer.

I have partook on this blogging journey with many readers. These last 3 months I have learned many things about who I am, who Cape May County is, and how truly blessed my family is to be a part of Cape May County. This is a family that is willing to let their daughter, wife, and mommy wear her mistakes on her sleeves and her heart on the other. I have lots of love to give and I feel no love is ever wasted (I hate that the last comment sounds like mushy mash potatoes.....Sorry). This hasn't been my first blogging experience, but I always relearn every time I step back into the office in front of my keyboard, I love to write, share, and meet the many other personalities and families out there in the world. Please e-mail me if you are a regular reader and feel free to introduce yourself and your family. I have found those e-mails to be precious gifts and I thank you so much for them. I am honored to have met the women I have met over the last couple of months through this blog. You are all very dynamic, interesting people and I look forward to making more friends as my time writing on Motherhood Avenue goes on. If you have your own blog, please share your story with me as I would love to read it.

Here are some personal goals for the next 3 months, that I would like to share with you:

My dream for me is to simply be the best that I can in any project that is in front of me, whether it is raising my boys,or one day finally getting a chance to fulfil that dream of finishing that fiction novel that I started so long ago. What ever evolves and becomes the next project, I hope I can be fully ignited for the cause and the motive behind it. Another goal is for me to be a better writer, bringing you entries that can greatly benefit you and your families. I want to become a better listener to my family, friends, and readers. So, please talk to me if there is anything I could ever do to help you or the community.
As I vent to my readers about the frustrations of parenthood and know that every obstacle presents trouble, I do so to open the discussion between the issues I am going through and I am eagerly open for suggestions. I know for a fact that God's plan for me is being a mommy towards my own precious joys. With that thought, my ultimate goal is to be able to balance being there for my husband, being there for my readers, and being there for my boys without completely loosing my mind! =)

So, Happy Birthday Motherhood Avenue you are a whopping 3 months old!!!
