Do you know someone who has breast cancer?

I am probably the least qualified to write this entry. However, seeing that it is breast cancer awareness month and this disease has effected many women in our area and world, I feel it on my heart that this topic should have some attention on this motherhood blog! I am hoping that over time, some of my readers will share their very personal stories with how their lives have been effected directly or indirectly by breast cancer. Until then, I would like to share with you some very important links that I have found that have educated me about the disease, the prevention of breast cancer, and the options for supporting women locally, supporting their families, and financially, to fund medical studies that will help with the battle against breast cancer!

*It's my hope that this month, my pink blog, my picture will remind us all that early detection is our best defense against this evil culprit, breast cancer!
