On Sat, September 12, 2008, we held true to a family tradition. We attended the Fireman's Parade. My 1 year old has just recently learned to say "Truck". This was a skill that was perfected by the end of the day.

We were in "little boy" heaven. We were surrounded by big powerful trucks, earsplitting horns honking, and messy ice cream. What more could a little boy want? We saw two hours worth of high ladder trucks, fire boats, and old fashion firetrucks. All of the boys, including my husband, were in their glory. What a fun day! They had it all.

For truck lovers at heart, I rate this family event 3 firetrucks up. Don't forget your sunscreen, and be prepared for a very long parade, so get comfortable!!!! The best place to sit this year was at Green's Liquors.
