Let them Be Little, and Enjoy Being a Parent

Parenting really can be Fun. They grow up so fast; enjoy them while they are little.
Enjoy Your Children More - Five Tips
    1. Freeze
Stop write now and look at your children. In less than a year they will probably be so different! The are on the way to becoming the person that you are raising them to be. If your childen aren't near you, think what they are doing at this exact moment and then ask them about it when they get home. Just stop everything and Let them be Little!

    2. Listen Up
Don't just hear their voice, understand what they are saying. Ask questions in return and look at them and not what you are doing. If you are making dinner or doing the next task....it can wait.....your children are growing older as you make them wait; enjoy them being little.

    3. Switch It Up
Spend a Day with your child calling the shots while you pretend to be a kid as well. Devote a day to your child to do what he/she likes, and eat what he/she eats. This will make them feel so special and you feel like you are doing a good job.

    4. Make Memories
Go on an adventure, take pictures, and make a picture book about it that you can read about over and over again. Soon, that little boy/girl in that picture will grow up to be a grown adult. Enjoy them while they are little.

    5. Make a Goofy Tradition
Sprinkle Glitter everywhere for a holiday party or wake up at 3:00 in the morning and make pizza. Enjoy the fact that at 3:00am it will only be your time with them. The phone will not ring, and you can hog your kids all to yourself. Eat ice cream for dinner (don't make this a regular habit), or eat peanuts and cotton candy while you watch the baseball game at home on a TV.
Whatever you do, Let them be Little!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The first draft was mistakenly uploaded. Like most moms that read my articles many things are happening at one time, and that can lead to silly mistakes being made. I write from my heart and never claim to be a perfect mom or writer. I am a mommy and that is what comes first. There is always room for improvement. I have lots of love to give, even to my grammar and spelling critics. =)

The editing on this article is horrible. There are typos, miscapitalized words, and other grammatical errors. I'm not sure if this is the fault of the writer, editors, or the webmaster, but I truly hope this article did not go to print like this in the paper.
