Sarah and Mazen Yacoub—Photo by Andy Todes

Sarah and Mazen Yacoub were married June 18, 2011 in Our Savior Lutheran Church in Stone Harbor. The reception was held at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor.

Sarah recalls….

I spent every summer of my life in Stone Harbor and Avalon, and my parents live in Avalon year round. My family has lived in Cape May County (Court House) since the American Revolution, so I had to be married here.

There would be no other place considered. This is where our family has its roots.

We loved riding the trolley through town and along 96th Street on our way to 77th Street to have our pictures taken. June 18 was the longest day of the year, and the sunset over the Back Bay was spectacular!
