Christine Pomykacz and Jason Teszner were married on May 21, 2011 on the beach in Avalon at 77th St. The reception was held at The Abbie Holmes Estate.

Christine recalls…

I had always spent my summers at the Jersey Shore as a little girl before permanently moving here as a teenager. Spending my summers at our summer home were some of the best times of my childhood.

I have always loved everything about the shore — the smell, the feel, the atmosphere, the love, the friendships, and of course the beach!

Knowing my love for the beach, Jason planned a proposal on the beach; however the rain did not let it happen. So he decided to take me for a walk close to my parents’ home on Father's Day of 2009 before we left to head home to Philadelphia, where we moved to shortly after we met.

As we walked to the bay, Jason pulled a ring out of his pocket and asked me to be his wife. It was then that I knew I had to follow my dream to be married at the shore and definitely on the beach.

Jason was very excited to plan a wedding on the beach as well, and from what everyone has said, it was the most romantic wedding they have ever been to.
It is so difficult to pick just one favorite memory from our wedding day because everything about our wedding day was the most memorable time in our lives.

After watching the weather all week and expecting rain on our wedding day, I woke up that morning to the most beautiful day at the shore imaginable without a raindrop in sight. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I had pictured.

My favorite memory was seeing the smile on my husband’s face as I walked down the path to the beach. Although I knew I had met a wonderful man to share my life with, it was that moment that I knew I had chosen the best guy, and that I was such a lucky girl.

I have a wonderful family and wonderful friends…now I have an amazing man in my life who is just as wonderful and amazing as my father. I could not have asked for more in life!
