COURT HOUSE – In boys’ basketball, Middle Township defeated Lower Cape May, 37-29, Feb. 13. Tom Catanoso scored 15 points. Bobby O’Donnell scored 14 points for Lower.

Pleasantville topped Middle, 55-48, Feb. 15. Jeff Barber scored 15 points.

Middle surprised Wildwood Catholic, 44-41, in the CAL Tournament, Feb. 17. Darrell Shelton scored 13 points. Eddie McWade scored eight points for Catholic.

Lower defeated Mainland, 56-51, Feb. 15. Zach Betz hit six of six from the free throw line in the pivotal fourth period.

Vineland stopped Lower, 62-58, Feb. 16. O’Donnell scored 18 points.

Wildwood defeated Pennsville, 71-48, Feb. 14. Zak Barrett scored 19 points including the 1,000th of his career. Francis Christian scored 20 points in Wildwood’s sixth straight win.

Cape May Tech defeated Atlantic Christian, 42-35, Feb. 14. Jake Heminway scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Cape Tech dropped a 61-40 decision to Absegami, Feb. 15. Khali Wilson scored 12 points.

In girls’ basketball, Middle Township overwhelmed Lower Cape May, 50-26, Feb. 13. Olivia Schwartz scored 14 points. Lauren Holden led Lower with 10 points.

Middle thrashed Pleasantville, 65-32, Feb. 15. Lauryn Fields scored 16 points.

Middle held on for a 52-44 victory over Cedar Creek in the CAL Tournament. Fields nailed six of six free throws to cap the win.

Wildwood Catholic outscored Oakcrest, 38-28, Feb. 13. Morgan Mulholland scored 14 points.

The Crusaders edged Hammonton, 26-22, Feb. 15. Kim Gawarzewski led balanced Catholic with six points.

Lower defeated Vineland, 49-32, Feb. 16. Holden scored 16 points.

Atlantic Christian stopped Wildwood, 83-51, Feb. 13. Jessica Freeman scored 22 points.

Wildwood outscored Pennsville, 49-37, Feb. 14. Freeman scored 18 points.

Wildwood upset Clearview Regional, 45-42, Feb. 16. Freeman scored 17 points.

Cape May Tech edged GCIT, 40-39, Feb. 13. Chelsea Marriner scored 16 points.

Cape Tech defeated Absegami, 37-28, Feb. 15. Alexis Olson scored 19 points.
