Cape Christian Academy’s high school basketball defeated Ocean County Baptist School, 48-46, on Jan. 10. Tim Kanengiser led Cape with 16 points, followed by Richard Sterling’s 14 points. Nick Manyak scored 12 points while Ryan Fontaine added six points. Jonathan Spriggs snared 10 rebounds. Cape Christian is coached by Jerry Rosenberg and assistant Tom Ankrum. The Academy is rebuilding its sports program under the direction of new athletic director and alumnus Breton Palmer. Homeschoolers are invited to participate.
