ERMA — Thomas Roche, 34, of Silvia Avenue, North Cape May, who went missing, and was the subject of a widespread search on Fri., Nov. 5 was located.

As of Sun., Nov. 7, Roche was hospitalized according to his mother. She declined further comment other than to extend thanks to Lower Township Police Department and others who helped locate him.

Roche was reported missing by his mother on Nov. 1, he was last seen on Oct. 29.

He was located in Bally's Atlantic City by city police.

In a release on Friday, Lower Township Police had reason to believe that Roche was on his way to the Atlantic City Casinos at that time.

Detective Lieutenant William Mastriana of the Lower Township Police Department confirmed that Roche was employed as a full time police dispatcher with Wildwood Crest Police Department and as a part ttme relief dispatcher with Lower Township Police Department.

The Wildwood Crest Police Department, as well as the Atlantic City Police Department and the New Jersey State Police Casino Gaming Bureau, are assisting Lower Township Police Department with their investigation.

Roche was last seen operating a silver 2009, Ford Escape, bearing New Jersey registration ZBU-74N.

Roche is described as a white male, 34, 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds with short brown hair and black eyes. Roche normally wears glasses.

Roche was last seen wearing an Eagle’s visor, gray Phillies sweatshirt with the wording “Rollins” on the back of the sweat shirt, black shorts and silver sneakers.
