WILDWOOD — Tiny and huge, fuzzy and hairless, winners and runner ups, the Wildwoods Convention Center played host to the Boardwalk Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show, Feb. 1-5.
The event began Wed., Feb. 1 with the Union County Kennel Club hosting their All Breed Dog Show and a Meet the Breed Showcase.
Sand and Sea Kennel Club hosted their All Breed Dog Show, Obedience and Rally Dog Show, Thur., Feb. 2. The event put dogs through various obstacle courses.
An All Breed Dog Show; Obedience and Rally Dog Show; Best Veteran in Competition; Canine Good Citizen Clinic and All Breed Puppy Match Show was held Fri., Feb. 3.
The Boardwalk Kennel Club hosted an All Breed Dog Show; Best Puppy in Show Competition, Canine Good Citizen Clinic and Police K-9 Demonstration and Awards Ceremony.
In celebration of the Boardwalk Kennel Club’s 50th anniversary, there was a first-ever Groomer on the Boardwalk Competition. The competition was open to all groomers and prizes were awarded to Best Groomer in Show.
On Fri., Feb. 3, a K-9 demonstration was held for underprivileged area school children in the Lobby Ballroom of the Convention Center.
Two dogs were added to the new K-9 award presentations Sat., Feb. 4; Egg Harbor Township Police Department members Ally, a Bloodhound and Jack, a German Shepherd, both killed in the line of duty.

Scheduled for Sun. Feb. 5, an all breed dog show and best amateur owner-handler competition. Tickets available at the door.
