WOODBINE — Some children from this borough got a special treat Wed., Jan. 4 when the Puerto Rican Action Committee celebrated Three Kings Day (Dia de los Reyes). The actual day is Jan. 6, the Feast of the Epiphany, 12 days after Christmas.

Helping to bring life to that festive day were Freddy Bonilla, Tito Ortiz and Alex Ramos who wore colorful robes to portray the three kings from the East who, according to the Gospel, presented treasures to the Christ Child of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Local children received gifts from the trio representing those legendary kings of old.
