TOWNSEND’S INLET — The Townsend’s Inlet Civic Center approaches its 125th anniversary. To mark that milestone, the center, 138-85th Street, Sea Isle City, is affording the public an opportunity to buy engraved pavers in front of the building.

Whether those from an individual, family, organization, business or vacationer, contributions would “greatly add to the beauty of the island and ensure that the T.I. Civic Center will be here for future generations to come,” according to a release.
All proceeds will be used to pay for the architect, blueprints, engineer and permits for the center’s new façade.

Pavers, 4” by 7” by 1.5” would provide a lasting memory of family or other names. They may contain two to three lines of 12 characters per line.

Cost is $200 per paver, and they are limited. Donors will receive an 8x10 paver certificate, suitable for framing.

For information, call (609) 263-3002 or visit: www.senaworld.org.

Roger Fehrle of Herman Fehrle and Sons Masonry has offered to donate his time to professionally install the engraved pavers in front of the center.
