WOODBINE - Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Borough of Woodbine received bids on Jan. 25, 2012, for the Woodbine Municipal Utilities Authority Water Treatment Disinfection System and awarded the contract for this work to B&H Contracting, Inc. of Folsom.
This work on the Woodbine MUA Water Treatment Plant will include various state-of-the art upgrades that will improve efficiencies and help to reduce operating costs. This project also enhances operation of the newly-installed municipal well, which was itself installed with 2009 Small Cities Public Facilities funding. Funding for this project is also from a New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Small Cities Public Facilities grant.
“We are looking forward to the completion of this final phase in the installation and upgrading of our new municipal well,” noted Mayor Pikolycky. “The support of the Department of Community Affairs Small Cities funding program has enabled Woodbine to upgrade this facility with an eye towards future development.”
