WEST WILDWOOD - The Borough hosted the second of two informational meetings this past April 27. The Borough had a power point presentation that covered various topics relating to damage from Superstorm Sandy. Additionally, information was provided on how and where to file claims, useful FEMA websites, various sources of funding and coastal zones. Also discussed were unfamiliar terms which have become common place such as FIRM Maps, ABFE Maps, V Zones and others.
Mayor Fox estimated that approximately 70 to 75 people attended each of these meetings. Further, by having the meetings on Saturday we could reach out to all of our citizens, both primary and secondary home owners. The positive feedback received from the attendees was very much appreciated by the Mayor and Commissioners.
