STONE HARBOR - Stone Harbor Department of Public Works Director Gregory Sheeran announced a traffic advisory for the Borough effective Thu., Feb. 16, 2012.

A portion of Third Avenue between 96th Street and 98th Street, along with 97th Street from the beach to the bay will be closed to vehicular traffic for approximately one month. The closures are necessitated by utility work being conducted in the area. Only localized traffic will be permitted. Detours will remain in place for the duration of the project.
