COURT HOUSE -- Freeholder Director Gerald M. Thornton and the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders will discuss the 2014 county budget at public deliberations to be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 21. Also, if needed, deliberations will take place Jan. 22, Jan. 23 and Jan. 24, 2014.
The proposed 2014 budget will be introduced at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Chosen Freeholders Jan. 28, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.
A Public Hearing will be held on the proposed budget March 11 at 7 p.m. Adoption of the final budget is currently scheduled to take place following public comment at the meeting on March 11, 2014.
Following its introduction, the proposed 2014 budget will be posted to the county website www.capemaycountygov.net and available for review at the County Administration Office. The public is also asked to check the website for any changes to the scheduled meeting dates.
All meetings will take place in the Freeholders’ Meeting Room at the County Administration Building, 4 Moore Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey (Exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway).
