Fire Damages Crest Building

WILDWOOD CREST — A fire, Fri., Jan. 20 about 10:30 a.m. damaged a structure at 105 E. Topeka Ave.
Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Company and rescue responded along with Wildwood Fire Department. The county Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire which caused exterior damage. The fire was extinguished by 11 a.m.

I hope Wildwood's paid department did not respond to this fire. mutual assisitance between volunteer departments is fine but wildwood paid dept. should not be responding to west wildwood or wildwood crest unless they are paying for their service.
