House Fire Started with Microwave Oven

TOWN BANK— A smoky kitchen fire at 6 Sunnyside Drive Tue., Jan. 31 about 2:50 p.m. started in a microwave oven.
Town Bank Fire Chief Lew Megonigal said the fire spread beyond the microwave oven into the kitchen to the wall and floor. He said there was smoke damage throughout the house. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire was out in about 10 minutes. Erma and Villas fire companies responded along with Lower Township police and rescue squad.
