Let he without sin cast the first stone. All this talk about African males is nonsense. I know plenty of African American males that are hardworkers and take care of their famlies. I know personally African American men that are college professors, Dentist, Ceo's, Managers. I could go on and on. I feel sorrow in my heart for the elderly couple. I pray for them, for having to go through such a horrible ordeal. It is a shame the HERALD newspaper would allow such comments to be made about any race. Who is monitoring this site?

what a shame this county is really getting bad twice this summer i had homeless come to my home for money thats right walked right up to me as i was doing yard work an had no where to go an no money an ask me for money i sent them to my local church for help an the day of the carjacking was when one came to me for money wondering if the car jacker was him?

As for Florida, I made reference to the higher bail amounts with severity of crimes. You can argue race all you want, but the point is that bail amounts here are low and inconsistent! The earlier story stated a black male entered the vehicle. And what is up with this county? 50k for carjacking, eluding, property damage, and supposedly hurting the elderly? This county repeatedly gives low bail and something needs to be done about it. In Florida and many states, it would be 100k-500k. If this guy gets out and commits another crime or kills someone, the judge should be charged and sued for stupidity.

I think I just made a comment about the black youth committing crimes against white people. And I think I mentioned carjackings and home invasions. Again, why do black people always cry racism yet white people are usually the victims of their crimes?Another POS who would rather steal than work!
