Wanna know something messed up? If you search the two names in the herald, they both pop up as drug users. Plus they show up in the birth announcements... Crack and heroine posession... great parenting you two losers. I was a drug baby. I was raised by my mother's family. I can guaruntee you two, you will reap what you sow.
Mother and Father of the year material here. Brag about that in jail.

LOGICAL ONE- Yes, you are correct. Having some heroin, crack, and prescrip meds is not a problem. If people choose to put that stuff into their own body it is of their own free will. You can't be everybodies mommy by trying to stop them from doing something you don't approve of. Get over it. People get high. They have forever, and they will forever. No amount of pampering by you is going to change that. Come to think of it, I don't think any of my friends have ever been arrested. You must be really dissapointed in hearing that. So go make yourself a drink and make it all go away.

Really 1776 - fabricating problems where none exist? So I guess in your own little world, having some heroin, crack and prescription meds are not a problem? It is likely that your druggie buddies were being watched and too high or stupid to maintain their delivery vehicle - that is why it is called DOPE!

Pretty well said 1776....The longer this drug war goes on, the worse it's gonna get around here...Also the whole assault on an officer is gonna be downgraded, i promise you that. They just dress it up real nice so that they make things look to be more dangerous than they really are so that these officers can complain about their pay and their "dangerous job" here in Cape May County....The criminality of drugs are more dangerous than drugs themselves....If drugs were legal they would be dangerous to the individual, but with the illegal status you put innocent people at risk to people who have no respect for the law...If they are willing to break the law to sell drugs, do you think that maybe they are willing to kill someone as well??? Not to mention that there are stories of the wrong houses being raided and innocent people being killed by the over aggressive force used in these raids...Legalized killers with badges and an excuse that they cannot tell the difference between a gun and a hair brush...So their murder is justified i guess???

SCHMITTMAN- The problem with "equipment violations" is they can be fabricated on the spot. It's not ok to assault anyone, police or civilian. Our problem isn't that we lack aggressive cops. Just the opposite. We have aggressive cops looking for trouble where none exists, to grind an ax, settle a score, to show off, be boastful, satiate their red bull rage, or get their rocks off quenching their power drunk thirst. Cops and law enforcement in general are some of the most sadistic people you will ever encounter. They don't need to be egged on by cheer leaders like yourself. What is really shameful is there are still people like you who believe this "war on drugs" has come anywhere close to actually working when every statistic points in the exact opposite direction. Sooner or later you have to face the facts. You will never ever be able to stop people from getting high or drunk. You never could. You never will. It's like putting your hand up to block the wind. It is so much more bigger and powerful than what you are even able to imagine.
LIKE TO KNOW- It is already against the law to operate a vehicle under the influence. That part won't change and shouldn't. The part that should change is legalizing currently illegal drugs. When was the last time you heard about a pot head killing someone while driving?
JETS SANCHEZ- What happened to "DIRTY"? Did Art Hall make you change it? I'm glad he did. It was never really funny anyway. I always thought it was retarded. It was like you learned a new dirty word and just couldn't let it go. Boring and old.
Sorry to dissapoint you, but I don't have a stash. You should be more worried about members of your family. My vehicles are well maintained. 5 dix patrolling for equip. violations??? Who's high now? Those detectives better be investigating serious crimes like rape, murder, arson, and assault, not mickey mouse drug possessions. And if they are, that tells me there are too many cops and we need to let a few more seek employment in the private sector.

Kaotic and 1776 Need to have their heads examined. You're right, it's not every day 2 detectives are patrolling for equipment violations!! Normally there are 4 or 5 patrolling for equipment violations!! You both need to walk around your cars and make sure your lights all work!! It would be a shame if you get pulled over for a bad tail light!! They might find your stash!!

Legalize crack/cocaine, heroin and prescription drug possesion? Police shouldnt stop a car for obvious equipment violations? Then I guess it's ok to assault those officers as well? I guess we just plain don't need any police doing actual police work! It's time our police in this town as well as this country were allowed to do actual police work. It would also be great if the criminal justice system would supprt our police and encourage them to be aggresive. In today's world when an officer does aggresive police work our system just does not support them, and that is shamefull.

Well it seems to me that this was an unlawful stop...Not everyday that 2 detectives are out patrolling for equipment violations and just so happen to stumble upon crack and heroin. This is the sad excuse used to violate your right to privacy. After reading this story I still feel that nothing has changed and our streets are no safer. Now we have 2 more people getting free room and board till the next time the can get their hands on drugs. Hopefully they take that step in the right direction, but that is totally a choice they need to make as individuals. There isn't a prison or drug program out there that can wave a magic wand and say, "you're drug free." It don't work like that. If that were the case, 85% of people wouldn't return to prison like the statistics say. Precious tax dollars are being wasted on people who don't yet want to help themselves. We need to take the criminality out of drugs and make it more appealing to be able to ask for help and be treated as a sick person, rather than a criminal. Open treatment centers and let them knock on the door for help, this way our tax dollars mean something and have a purpose, but to force a way of life on someone who is not ready yet is irresponsible and arrogant. So YES, we got some drugs off the streets, but we are still spending $1700.00 a second on a failed drug war, and we can't even be sure that the tax dollars being spent on this entire process of the courts and jail time will even deter these people from future drug use. Legalize It 420

Legalize it!
