COURT HOUSE — Cape May County Freeholder Leonard Desiderio and the Cape May County Complete Count Committee will host an information session on the results of the 2010 Census on Wed., April 6.
The discussion, led by Leonard Preston from the New Jersey State Data Center of the New Jersey Department of Labor & Work Force Development, will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Freeholders’ Meeting Room at the County Administration Building located at 4 Moore Road (exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway).
Preston will present an overview of the 2010 Census for Cape May County and explain how to access and use 2010 Census and related data. `
Desiderio said, “The 2010 Census data is very valuable in planning for services as well as budgetary and other economic issues that our municipalities face now and in the future. For this reason, it is important that our municipalities and the community understand the census results and what they mean to all of us in Cape May County.”
Business owners, government officials and the public are invited to learn more about the 2010 census results at this free information session.
