STRATHMERE - The annual Strathmere Fourth of July Parade was held Monday.
The parade is sponsored every year by the Strathmere Improvement Association and the Strathmere Volunteer Fire Company.
The weather was sunny but very warm, and many of the participating children struggled in the heat.
Awards were presented as follows:
Division 100 – Motorized Floats
First Prize, “Dancing Yankee Doodles” - Ed Dietz
Second Prize, “Summer Mummers” – Karly Boles
