SEA ISLE CITY - One thousand "Lucky Ducks" will take the plunge on Feb. 18 in the Polar Bear Plunge here. This year the T I Civic Center will be offering the Official Polar Bear Plunge "Lucky Duck" for $5 each.

TIIA President Louise Clemente said "Our goal this year is to sell 1,000 "Lucky Ducks " in order to help with the expenses of the T I Civic Center through the winter." You can help the T I Civic Center reach it's goal by choosing from the hundreds of different ducks offered.

Types of ducks include Polar bear plunge, mermaids, surfers, sports, Irish, valentine, pirates, racecar drivers, hockey, rockstars, mardigras, poker, princess, police, firemen, nurse, military, superheros, x-treme winter, diva, cavemen, hippies, and hundreds more assorted ducks to choose from.

Supporters hope that every one who is taking the plunge will take it with their duck. The ducks will be personalized with the name or Polar Plunge 2012. Look for the vendors tent at LaCosta's at J F K Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. These lucky ducks also make great souvenirs for the thousands who come to watch.
