To The Editor: I was shocked to read the article about how "Locals Really Feel." Being a local newspaper, I would think the Herald should support our area. Yes, the economy is difficult and not every town is perfect but an article like this is not going to bring any new families into the area, it's more likely to scare them away. This article was a complete waste of space. And yes, I realize there were a few positive comments thrown in there, but whoever thought it was a good idea to have an article tearing our community apart obviously wasn't thinking forward very far. Yes, well it seems "Ami" isn't very forward thinking either. All newspapers should tell the truth and not whitewash. In addition, this poor writer doesn't have a clue as to what is coming to alter her naive, entitled Cape May world. Living in a fantasy is a waste of space for human being.
