Dear Editor: I have been vacationing in Cape May County for over 40 years. On my most recent trip with my family, I lost my wallet in a park on Madison Avenue in Cape May on my second day of a week-long visit. Obviously I panicked and thought my vacation was ruined. I looked all over from my hotel room to the beach to the park to no avail. I went back to the park for one last search an hour later and low and behold a couple who resides in Cape May year round found my wallet and returned it to me. The couple refused to take a "finders fee" and simply returned the wallet to me and drove off. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the couple that found my wallet. I believe this gesture reinforces my belief about how friendly and honest the people in your area of the country really are and how enjoyable it is to visit your community for my once a year vacation STEVE HACK Kingston, N.Y.
