CAPE MAY POINT — The Coast Guard medically-evacuated a 55-year-old man reportedly suffering from heart attack symptoms today from a 45-foot sport fishing boat 20 miles southeast of here.

The Coast Guard received a call at 7:06 a.m. from a crewmember aboard the fishing boat Problem Child who reported that passenger David Truman was in need of medical attention.

A Coast Guard helicopter aircrew from Air Station Atlantic City and a boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May arrived on scene.

The helicopter's rescue swimmer was lowered aboard the Problem Child to prepare Truman for hoisting. He was hoisted aboard the helicopter and transported to Cape Regional Medical Center, Court House for treatment.
