Wildwood Police Warns of Improper Parking; Tickets Forthcoming
WILDWOOD - Beginning immediately and for the next two week period, the Wildwood Police Department will be issuing written warnings to all drivers and vehicle owners of vehicles who are improperly parked on the wrong side of the roadway, within the city.
Owners and operators of vehicles who are parked on the wrong side of the roadway or against the flow of traffic cause increased traffic hazards.
This improper parking violation, coinciding with the summer season causes an increase in motor vehicle collisions which result in needless injuries and property damage.
This increased enforcement will make drivers and vehicle owners aware of the violation, as well as reduce the traffic hazard to other drivers and pedestrians.
At the end of this two week period officers will issue motor vehicle summons for any violations that they observed.

Here's another thing to think about, how about commercial vehicles parked on residentcial streets over night. Robert's street below Pacific avenue is loaded with them.

Good job Wildwood PD. A violation is a violation. Anyway to make more money for the city is an improvement. Those lazy, dim-witted drivers will have to actually turn around then park, what a concept! I hope they ticket all those people too Twisted Oz, its your fault if you cannot park within the city restrictions. Sounds like a good way to supplement tax dollars and cut back on spending!

It would be better served to issue parking violations to all those who park across the sidewalks, driveways, and into the intersections, in the area of 400 W Hand, Bennett, Hilldreth, and Leaming Aves. People actually have to walk in the streets, around parked cars that are piggy backed into the street. I have reported this for several seasons now, so if looking for something that would have positive effect and provide the best interest of public safety, this would be a good place to start.

Don't you have something better to do like.... catch drug dealers on pacific ave? ..I am going to video tape you MORON"S giving people stupid tickets and put it on youtube..maybe then you will get your act together... wildwood police dept needs an enema !!!!!!!!!!... Stop giving these lazy idiots our tax dollars for their pension's.. let them pay into their own retirement plans and stop living off the backs of the tax payers.. most of the cops in wildwood do not even live in wildwood.. maybe if they did.. they might care more about the city...
