ERMA- Erma Volunteer Fire Company blasted accumulated snow from an overhang that was bowing from the weight of ice on the roof of Naval Air Station Wildwood here Thursday Feb. 18.
Large chunks of ice were dislodged that crashed to the ground like a pieces of an glacier falling into the sea. The detail was good practice for volunteer firefighters in the aiming of a jet of water.
The County Airport went six days without electricity as a result of the Blizzard of 2010.

Thanks Herald. Great news story. You should win a Pulitzer. Nothing is as exciting as snow being washed off a roof. Keep up the great work.
