Sea Isle: 'Jersey Shore' Not Invited to Resort

SEA ISLE CITY — Sea Isle City has been mistakenly rumored to be the next location for the MTV reality show, “Jersey Shore,” according to city officials.
To date, there has been no contact made to City officials regarding this possibility.
“We have not been contacted about the show “Jersey Shore” filming in Sea Isle. This is an unsubstantiated rumor and in fact, we understand the show is returning to Seaside Heights for the next season. My staff and I are in communication with MTV to clear up this matter and ensure the media is provided with accurate information,” according to Mayor Leonard C. Desiderio,

I think they should come to Sea Isle or Wildwood. Why not? There are crazier things going on in town. We should have a little excitment. And people can bad talk the " Jersey Shore" show all they want, but obviously people are watching it, if you go out to a bar and old ppl are calling you snooki and sammy. Hello! LOL

I think this Jersey Shore show is rediculous....I mean seriously we don't need to take like 5 hours to do our hair.... and what exactly is fist pumping, that is definately not dancing it looks like you're twitching ITS LAME!!!!!.... They are a disgrace to Jersey...what they are doing is stereotyping....you know the real Jersey Shore is nothing like that...Im Italian and from South Jersey and I am not at all like them....I think MTV should take their main focus off of the fist pumping rich kids!!!!!

I'm gonna have to watch a episode to get a full understanding of the show but from what ive seen in the news and tele commercials it kinda pisses me off that they portray the jersey shore and people from it in this matter were not all cussing dego's dressed in clothes that were made for 3 year olds.

Sally is onto something. Put Snookie & Co. dead center in the middle of downtown Avalon and watch the atrocity grow. Better contract out for some commercial-grade d-bag meters as the combination of clueless trust fund brats and the pumpkiin skinned olive oil set could be cataclysmic. Give The Situation a job tossing pies at Circle, put J-wow and her marvelously fake cans behind the bar at Jack's and have Pauly D dj Mondays at the P. Not sure what would be funnier, the actual cast or the gawking and wails of horror from the socially and financially insulated "regulars".

It wouldn’t have the same effect in SIC. No one would ask if they were dressed for Halloween. It would be difficult to differentiate between the cast and crowd. It would just be a giant Guido fest. Film in Avalon and keep the controversy going!!!

A.comment, I beleive the reason this is "news" is that there was such a big uproar over the rumor that the City of Sea Isle and the Mayor had to release an official statement procliaming the rumurs false. And Claudio, the next tiem you leave a comment, try and use a bit less profanity. Maybe your comment will actually stay up long enough for people to care.

Oh all you greedy pigs would die for this show to come to your pathetic excuse for a boring ass town. I don't care how many people hate on this show, only because they are jealous as hell. And they are in fact Italian people, not "wana-be" and obviously you watch the show getoverit. The simple fact that the amount of tourists would rise exponentially if people knew where this show would film in the summer and no politician would turn away the kind of boost in tax revenue in this day and age!
