SOMERS POINT-- Kyle J. Mattiace, 22, of the Ocean View section of Dennis Township, was arrested on Thursday, Nov 26, at Gregory's after he got into a fight with bouncers and management, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

Mattiace was arrested, charged with disorderly conduct and released on his own recognizance pending a Dec. 8 hearing in municipal court, the report said.

Michael Foglio, 25, of Ocean City was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest in the Nov. 26 incident at DiOrio's Circle Cafe at Somers Point Circle.

"The officer went to break up a fight," said Capt. Phil Gaffney of Patrolman Scott Handson, "and the guy turned around and took a swing at one of the officers."

Foglio was released on $10,000 bond, according to the report.

Its one of the busiest off season weekends for bars up and down the coast. Even the actual holiday...college kids home for the week, most people have a 4 day weekend, and dinner is usually early. Bars countywide were packed thursday through sunday. I noticed quite a few seasonal residents decided to pack up and head to the shore house this Thanksgiving.

Getting into a fight is an idiot move regardless of the day.
