WEST CAPE MAY— A rear end collision propelled a sedan into a parked sport-utility-vehicle and up over a curb onto the sidewalk in West Cape May on Sunday, Aug 2.

Onlookers gazed as Cape May City Firefighters worked to aid the driver of the sedan that was sent over the curb, on Broadway Street. Chief Jerome Inderwies Jr., said his injuries were minor. “He was shaken up more then anything”, Inderwies said.

The driver of the sedan was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for evaluation, according to Inderwies.

The West Cape May Fire Department and members of the Fire Police also responded to the scene.

The accident is under investigation by the Cape May City Police Department.

My car was hit last week while it was parked, I came out to find a dent. Nothing as bad as this though- and I was left a note which was wonderful :-)
