i believe it was a 4-way stop, when driving you should be doing 1 thing, driving. pay attention or you will be the next one to kill a beautiful person.

To the family of Casey Feldman there are many people, many of them you dont even know, who have been touched deeply by the loss of your angel. You can't look at her vibrant smile and not sense the depth of this young lady's soul. Know there are many out here who are praying for you and your family everyday and hope your lives will not be destroyed but will continue to flourish as Casey would have wanted I am sure. God be with you all at this time.

RIP Ms. Feldman
It is illegal to not stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
I'm not applying fault here because obviously she could have been at fault here, but as ignorant as I've seen drivers this summer, I would not be surprised if she was simply trying to cross and was hit by an ignorant driver who ignores the fact that pedestrian's in the crosswalk have the right of way.

How terrible that this young ladies live was cut short but such a terrible accident. Let's not be judgemental as to who is at fault. In many cases it is both people. I don't see any crosswalk and maybe he wasn't paying attention or any number of things could have caused one or the other of them to miss seeing the other. My heart goes out to the families.

My heart aches for Casey's family. There is no rhyme or reason to these things. It could be anybody, anytime. I pray for peace for her family. I pray for peace for the driver. I will not pass judgement until the investigation is complete.

I look at this picture of this beautiful girl and it makes me cry. I have a 21-year-old and 19-year-old child, both in college and I can't help feeling like her parent. I too wish I knew why this had to happen. I will never understand but my heart goes out to her family and hope that they can find strength to get through such a painful time.

This is such a horrible thing to happen to anyone, let alone a young girl with such a promising future ahead of her. People need to slow down period. Drivers just don't pay attention to all of the extra people there are in the resort town during the summer months. All our thoughts and prayers are with Casey's Family and friends. Such a horrible loss.

This sweet angel, Casey Anderson Feldman, is my precious niece. Our tears, our prayers, our grief cannot possibly be measured. She was only 21 years old and was about to enter her senior year at Fordham University in Manhattan where this bright and talented young woman was editor of the University newspaper. This year Casey had accepted a prestigeous internship in the broadcast industry.
Casey will always be remembered for her acts of kindness and for her positive outlook on everything and on everyone. In her short life, Casey taught us a lot about love and gave us so much joy.
We are a very close family, so needless to say we are struggling with trying to understand how such a beautiful, intelligent, and generous young woman could be so quickly snatched away from us, having so much more life to live.
It is true that accidents are exactly that---accidents, however our lives have been destroyed by this horrific tragedy. Please pray for her parents' and brother's peace of mind.
