WILDWOOD — Players and spectators in the seventh annual Cape Express Beach Blast soccer tournament packed beaches in Wildwood over the weekend.
The event, hosted by Cape Express Soccer Club and sponsored by Morey's Piers, brought about 1,000 teams to this shore community.
The event has become so popular over the years that Cape Express has scheduled a second tournament for Aug. 29 and 30.

Do you really think all of the money generated over the weekend went to the Morey's?

So another multi-million weekend for the Moreys. How much did he pay the City of Wildwood for use of the police, public works, and use of public restrooms. I'm sick of supporting the Morey's. The need to pay their fair share. And the backroom deal lowering their taxes is a disgrace. Hunts Pier was assessed at $8 million and was lowered to $1.1 million. Outrageous. Now you can't even get by their piers to walk up the beach because they are right out to the water. Is this legal???
