To POED Parent;
It sounds like you have anger issues because you made 3 comments in a row. Does no one listen to you at home? As far as some of your comments, Wildwood Crest is prime example of people becoming complacent and thinking 'No, not in my neighborhood'. It is pathetic because it is just that area to get hit. The Poconos, which I lived in for years, was once quiet and crime free now it is a cesspool of New Yorkers and North Jersey wannabee thugs. Just last year, we had about 30 cars broken into by Philly and local lowlifes in Wildwood Crest who have no or pathetic parental supervision. Yes, they live on the same block that we live on. My point is that if people continue to think it won't happen or continue to cave into these scumbags, CRIME WILL CONTINUE! I don't think I am bigger or badder than a bullet but the fact is; I had a shotgun pointed at me as a child, I was robbed by black guys in Philly, I was almost killed by a black guy with a pic axe in prison, and I was slashed at a Philly cop bar by 3 f*in illegals in NE Philly. I always fought back. When people, banks, businesses, etc cave into these punks, they grow like maggots. That is my point. Deal with your anger! No one tells me to shut my mouth. My family as well as millions of other Americans have fought so I can speak. If you don't like it, read the Press.

As I read I get more joy out of the people that think they are tougher than a bullet!

For all you nieve ,negative people out there. One of the victims happens to be my nephew who is a good harworking kid. I am a police officer in this county. If you think this isn't going to happen in your backyard you are sadly mistaken. It is happening everywhere yes even in your precious Wildwood Crest. If you don't have anything to help the police here you may as well just keep your mouth shut because you are rediculously stupid!

Responding to Hogryder;
The question should then be asked (if this is what truly happened), why would you go to that SunBank to get money out of the bank? Wawa is indoors and has security cameras. They also don't charge a fee. I remember always using the Provident and Corestates ATM's to deposit and withdrawal. Those days are pretty much over because of crime. Many banks don't have outside ATM's anymore for good reason. I guess maybe they should go to Wawa next time or grow some Meat-a-balls! I would imagine that the police are looking at cameras to see who was lurking in the area. Hopefully, they find the POS!!!

Deliveryman: Hey, if everybody agreed about everything then we'd all be saying, "BAAAAA", right?

You're right on.....anyone who claims to not care if they live or die just to save a few bucks is already a few cents short of a dollar. I can always make money to replace what was stolen, but my son can't make up for my not being there for him when he needs me.

doughNUT: Q. What makes me so sure their stories are viable?
A. What reason would they have to lie?
Think they're getting an insurance settlement? Going to sue someone? If you think it was "personal" and their motive is to get someone they know in trouble then why didn't they name him so he'd get arrested?

Someone may be impressed with your ability to attract women and single-handedly face down armed assailants, but no one with a working brain. You can claim anything you want on a computer. Personally, I think you have some self-image issues.

Meanwhile, I'm not afraid or embarrassed to flatly state that I know exactly what I'd do if I was confronted by a robber with a gun (as long as it didn't have a red muzzle): I'd give them all the money I had then thank them for not pulling the trigger.

Jenny's statement about the being followed from an ATM is very plausible and answers a large part of your conspiracy theory. Now get back to those doughnut holes.

Me and Hogryder have not exactly agree much in the last week or so but I have to say I see with him eye to eye on this one. I delivery food on the island and have had my own brushes with shady situations. I've never been personally held up as a driver but have had "what felt like a gun" jab in my back about 10 years ago. And I have a friend who was held up by gunpoint about 2 years ago delivering on the island and let me tell you.....it's not something to just be kidding around with. I don't care how much money I have on me, which is not much by the way all you bad people, I would not fight back if they had or assumed to have had a gun. My life is worth too much to take that risk. Being there for my kids is worth too much to take that risk. If you have the heart to make a stand, god bless you and I wish you the best.....but no one is a coward if they get scared when a gun is pointed at them.

The Delivery Man

PS Doughnut- Insurance policy or not......money can't raise your kids.......at least it shouldn't. I'm sure your kids would much rather not want you to take that risk.

You people have no clue what you would do if a gun was held up tp you. You have no idea if the gun may be real or not. Nor are you thinking straight. I know what happenend, they think one of the men was followed after using an ATM machine. And they did follow the robber that's how they know what kind of car he took off in. Before you open your big mouth get your facts straight.

Hogryder;
What makes you so quick to think that their stories are viable? I have stared down the barrel and I also had a guy twice my size take me outside of the Taj after he didn't like me getting his woman's attention. Knowing what I was up against, I put my hands behind my waist and kept egging him to come on. I bluffed him. He ran into the Taj and got about 10 security guards after me. All I did was act like I had something in my waist. Sometimes, the bigger they are, the harder they fall or the more they cry home to Mommy. Who is to say that these guys couldn't have fought him off? Speaking for myself, no one takes money that is for my kids mouths. I have life insurance policies for that. As long as banks keep dishing out the money, people keep handing over their stuff, etc, they will continue to do it! It is not a coincidence that there is an increase in robberies. Since the cops can't protect you, people should start protecting themselves from these punks and druggies!

Unbelievable! Now a reported armed robbery is a conspiracy?
Would YOU be willing to bet your life on the possibility that the, "Gun was fake or not loaded?" So what if there's a possibility it was "personal"; does that make it OK?
Question: "Why can't two males stop the guy?"
Answer: G-U-N!!!!!
Its easy to sit at a computer and criticize the actions -- or non-actions -- of someone facing a weapon and frightened for their life.

Maybe you should stick to studying those doughnut holes.

Most likely, that gun was fake or not loaded. Who goes to Heather and New Jersey to rob someone? Or was it personal and not random? I question why 2 males could not stop this guy. All they had to do was yell or one of them distract the scumbag while the other decked the SOB. Something smells alittle fishy here.
