VILLAS — A motorist crashed a Chevy Equinox through the front doors of Huffman's Floor Coverings, Weber Avenue and Bayshore Road, Thursday June 18 about 11:45 a.m. There were no injuries.

The Equinox, bearing a Pennsylvania license plate, also sideswiped a Ford F-150 pickup truck parked next to it.
The Equinox entered far into the store damaging displays.

Villas Volunteer Fire Company responded with Lower Township police and Lower Township Rescue.
The township's construction official, Gary Playford, was called to the scene to inspect the store for structural damage.

CAN THE VILLAS LUMBER COMPANY AND THE FAMILY GET A BREAK ??? FIRST THE FIRE NOW THIS! THIS WHOLE COMPANY WAS ONCE A VERY LUCRATIVE BUSINESS IN THE AREA SINCE THE MID 50'S UNTIL HOME CHEAPO AND LOWES APPEARED. BUT THAT'S JUST CHANGE AND THE END OF THE MOM AND POP STORES NOT TO MENTION THE END OF SO MANY COMPANIES NOT BEING ABLE TO COMPETE WITH THE BIGGER ONES. THATS WHAT AMERICA WAS BUILT ON A DREAM THAT YOU CAN SUCCEED IF YOU WORK HARD (AND THE CONROY FAMILY DID JUST THAT FOR MANY YEARS). BUT NOT UNLIKE SEVERAL OTHER BUSINESSES THER COMES A TIME TO THROW IN THE TOWEL AND TRY TO CUT SOME LOSSES. MAY GOD BLESS THEM ALL THEY ARE A GREAT FAMILY........................

What the article failed to mention was that the PA driver was hit from behind and spun around and that is how she landed in the store. Luckily she had her wits about her and no one was injured.

I once knew "whataboutbob"
he would sit and play with his cobb.
At his computer he would sit,
and then throw a fit,
then he'd attack people on this blog!!

There were 4 cars involved, with one leaving the scene. That is a fact. However, the one that left the scene was not even at fault so it's not known why they left the scene. Maybe they were drunk or had warrants? The vehicle that left the scene was described as a small white pick-up truck, possibly a Dodge Dakota, 90's model. There would be damage and green paint transfer to the drivers side front bumper.

Again Fichter gets the story wrong! It was a four car accident with a Hit and Run! Don't report it, if you can't get it correct!
