Somers Point Man Faces Drug Charges

OCEAN CITY — On June 12 at approximately 4 p.m., Det. Stephen Sullivan was investigating a reported suspicious motor vehicle in the vicinity of the 300 block West Avenue.

After observing the vehicle in question, the officer then conducted a motor vehicle stop.

Investigation revealed that the suspect, Thomas S. Sabatine, 43, of Somers Point, was in possession of suspected heroin, marijuana, hypodermic syringes and other drug related paraphernalia.

Sabatine was placed under arrest and a warrant was authorized by Judge Richard Russell in the amount of $40,000 full cash bail.

He was charged with possession Marijuana under 50 grams, possession drug paraphernalia, possession hypodermic syringe and possession CDS Schedule I – IV.
