Stone Harbor Turtle Trot Winners Announced

STONE HARBOR — ABC-6 Action News weather anchor, Cecily Tynan became the women's overall winner with a time of about 19 minutes and Gene Mitchell, 41, won the overall race in about 16 minutes at the 10th Annual Turtle Trot 5K race on May 24.
Mitchell was presented with a check donated by Global Pursuit.
The Turtle Trot, an annual 5K race through the borough, has grown to include over 300 participants this year.
The Chamber of Commerce will donate a generous portion of the proceeds to the Jack Fitzpatrick Memorial Scholarship.
