Marmora Bank Robbed a Second Time in Less Than a Week

MARMORA—State Police confirm the Ocean City Home Savings Bank located on Roosevelt Boulevard was robbed again today, according to state police spokesman, Sgt. Julian Castellanos.

State Police converged on the same area with K-9 dogs, and police helicopters to search for the suspects, just blocks away from an athletic field full of playing children and the Upper Township Elementary School.

The bank was robbed on Friday, May 8, allegedly by 30 year-old Oliver Archer of Atlantic City. Archer was apprehended by police while burglarizing a home one block from the bank.

State Police have not released any details of today’s robbery as of 6:40 p.m.
