UPDATE: Vehicle Strikes Parkway Toll Booth in Multi-Vehicle Crash

SOMERS POINT — One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash here on the Garden State Parkway at the Great Egg Harbor Toll Plaza at 1:13 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

According to State Police, a silver 2004 Honda Accord driven by Elli Stavropoulos of Parsippany, while traveling southbound on the parkway, changed lanes and struck a blue Infiniti sport-utility-vehicle driven by Matthew Orrino of Babylon, NY. A tire came off the Infinity and struck a 1995 Dodge van driven by Barbra Keegan of North Cape May. The Accord continued southbound and stuck the toll plaza concrete barrier in lane three of the toll plaza and overturned onto its roof.

Stavropoulos had to be extricated from her car by Somers Point Fire Department. Stavropoulos was transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit in Atlantic City by the Hammonton Rescue Squad and Medic 8 in stable condition, according to state police.

The Marmora Fire Department and Upper Township Rescue Squad assisted units from Somers Point. The accident is under investigation by Trooper M. Ward at the Bass River Station.

in either way, atleast she was in a stable condition now and nothing was really hurt so badly. oh btw, how was her spoiler?

So you just contradicted your first comment and are now saying she didn't lose control? Make up your mind! Either way she was at fault and crashed into another car, and then lost control and hit the toll booth.

$20 spent on making you look dumb :)

well i was there a few hundred feet behind her - when you lose control of a vehicle, u typically don't go straight. Use your $20 and start from elementary school my friend.
