NORTH CAPE MAY — A North Cape May man was arrested Friday, March 27 after police allege he was found in possession of 20 Percocet pills valued at between $20 and $25 each.
According to Lower Township police, at about 4 p.m. they received information that a person would be operating a certain vehicle, and would be in possession of an unknown quantity of Percocet prescription drugs.
Police set up surveillance in the area of Breakwater and Bayshore roads.
Shortly afterward, a subject was seen traveling northbound on Bayshore Road. He turned into and parked in a local pharmacy parking lot.
At that time, Lower Township detectives approached him, and asked for consent to search, which he signed.
It was found that Michael A. Noble Jr., 24, of the first block, Beachhurst Avenue, North Cape May was in possession of the 30-milligram pills.
Noble was arrested at the scene and transported to Lower Township Police Department for processing. He was charged with possession of prescription narcotics and possession with the intent to distribute.
Detective First Class Mel Hedum and Detective Chris Lambert investigated the case.

There is no way Lambert is selling roids out of his gym! It has been rumored for years and I'm sure that the Prosecutors Office has looked in that direction before. I don't know where you are getting the information that all of his brother officers don't like him? I'm sure that their are some. Nobody likes everyone they work with. I suspect that whoever don't like him in the policing community is jealous because he is always in the news about locking someone up. He's making many look like they are not trying hard enough. I think he is doing a great job and so does the criminals. Why do you think they get on here and start these rumor BS comments and spew garbage Chris's way. Keep up the good work Chris! Don't pay no mind to these jealous fools and criminals.

In County Jail...there are death threats for Good Ol' Lambert all over the walls...I heard he had a death threat last week too. I know a Middle Twp cop who said that most cops do not like Lambert and disagree with his means of getting his arrests, what does that tell you, when your own police "brothers" don't like you? As far as the pills go, now that Dr.Costino is out of business I figured the pill-market would be dry in Cape May County...LOL. Oh well, I guess if you are doing what you are supposed to, you shouldn't have to worry about "cowboys" like Det. Lambert....

Tell me why do we hear so much about Officer Lambert and his selling of steroids to young men at the gym. I have heard this over and over. Rumors do happen, however, I wonder how true it is. Apparently everyone at the gym believes he does. So tell me who is the real drug dealer?

I would like for anyone who has an answer to this one to respond. Why would a family Doctor prescribe 100 Percocets and 60 xanaxs to a 25 yr old patient who had just be dianosed with B and C hepatitis? Never gave one anti-viral prescription at all. I think this doctor ought to be arrested by Mr. Lambert. She is located next to the Home Depot on Indian Trail Road. I think she is one of the big drug distributors in Cape May County,
