
GREEN CREEK - Suspicious devices were located here at 1304 Cherry St. around 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, according to police.
Middle Township Police responded to the scene and then requested the Atlantic City Bomb Squad, Cape May County HAZMAT team, Green Creek Fire Company and County Fire Police to the scene.
"A friend of a resident that lives down the street here came across some suspicious devices in the garage that are of some concern, so were taking precautions and having the devices checked out, said Lt. Chris Leusner.
The bomb squad and police cleared the scene around 11 p.m.
The case is under investigation by Middle Township Police Department and Cape May County Prosecutors Office.

black powder isn't illegal. neither is the equipment for reloading ammunition-its called saving a lot of money in this terrible economy. When is CMC going to get its own bomb squad?

Yeah, the bomb sqaud and haz mat come out just for reloading equipment. Thats a reasonable assumption. Nice follow up on the report.

It was reloading equipment for reloading ammo. There was nothing illegal about it. somebody jumped the gun.
