You are absolutely correct about the restaurant having political connections. You would not believe the stuff that family has gotten out of considering "who they know". I'm talking DUI's and the whole nine. The family that owns that restaurant, "The Deauville Inn" is ignorant, heartless, and the most awful family I have ever known. I know this because I worked there for a number of years and almost anyone I know who has worked there feels the same way. I hope they do get massive repercussions for this very sad happening. So many things like this go on at that place and they need to be punished just for the terrible people they are.

I doubt if you will see anybody at the restaurant charged or even fined, too much political connections there, however a lawsuit is sure to follow. This was an extremely sad situation!

Good! Did they charge anyone at the restaurant or were they fined?
