HEISLERVILLE- Two people were transported to Cooper University Trauma Center in Camden after their Ford F-150 truck ran off the road and struck a tree head on trapping both victims here on Sadie Ln around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan 7.
Heislerville and Leesburg Fire Departments responded to the scene to extricate the victims that were trapped about 15 minutes.
Belleplain Emergency Corps and Life Support 6 transported both victims to Cooper after their request for a medevac transport was denied for weather.
The accident is under investigation by Troopers at the Port Noris station.

A major accident with injuries this serious is no way to start the new year.
I wish the victims of this truck crash a speedy and full recovery.
