Could someone send the public works crew over to my house to take down my Christmas Lights? Since you are accusing Jimmy Fox of putting them up every year maybe since he has been let go someone could come take them down for me! I was very impressed by the Mayor and Commission. I was a little upset when witnessing verbal abusiveness toward the Mayor being treated with the utmost disrespect. The streets were cleared a lot better BEFORE Herb and Jerry, both plowed and salted. I haven't seen them plowed yet. The sidewalks were also shoveled. YOU people better stop drinking the KOOL AID! Oh, for sure it is your Mayor that has caused the problem. He is such an egotistical maniac that just LOVES to hear himself talk. I did this and I did that. The last time I looked, there are 3 Commissioners. Jerry only does what Chuck tells him to do and Scott isn't even in the picture. Why are Jimmy and Billy STILL under investigation after 6 or so months??? If they have something (which I doubt they do or they would have been fired long ago) they should do something about it. In the meantime, our streets are flooded EVERY time it rains now. You will NEVER get such a dedicated employee as Jim Fox. He used to be out at all hours of the day and night when we had high tides and the storms. The streets weren't flooded as much as they are now. And he could have been paid for the emergency management but he never received it! Chuck is out to get rid of ALL things that had to do with the last administration. He hates anything FOX! I'm sure if he could he would get rid of the girls in the office. He got rid of or is in the process of getting rid of the police that he doesn't want around. Watch out for the camera at the bridge...here comes BIG BROTHER! Why not just get our police back?

At Friday's meeting Chuck brought up that he wanted to use $50,000 of the UEZ money to tear out 10 feet of the old railroad bridge piles. This would benefit the 2 marinas near it since they pay into the UEZ fund and it would certainly benefit Chucky and HIS marina. How would this benefit the rest of the island? This money in the past was used for our Family Fun Day Celebration w/fireworks. $50,000 sounds like an awful lot ot money for such a small amount of space. It doesn't cost that much to put the pilings in! I wonder who he has lined up to do the job! I'm sure one of his cronies! I would think that it would have to be a bid job.
