Erin Callahan, East Lynne Theater Company’s 2008 Scholarship recipient.
At East Lynne Theater Company's only Cape May fundraising event in 2008, Erin Callahan was named the second recipient of the Historic Jackson Street Neighborhood Association Scholarship Fund in the Name of Bob and Toni Green.
This fund was started in the fall of 2006 with a generous $5,000 donation from HJSNA, in honor of the Greens, who first owned The Puffin on Jackson Street.
The $300 scholarship is usually slated for those from Cape May County, who are preparing to attend college, or are already into their first college year, and are majoring in theater or who have worked with ELTC.
Callahan graduated over a year ago from Adlephi University, with a degree in theater, but has college loans to repay. While she pursues her career in theater in New York City, the Board of Trustees voted to give her this scholarship to help pay off a little of this burdensome loan.
