WILDWOOD — On July 16, 2003, a news digest appeared in the Herald under the headline “Merchant Charged.”
On Jan. 29, 2004, the accused, Habis Mohamad Al-Khatahtbeh of East Brunswick, entered a not guilty plea in Wildwood Municipal Court before Judge David DeWeese.
Al-Khatahtbeh was subsequently cleared of all charges, and the state dismissed its case against him.
